Yes, I'm sorry to everyone I've critisized, I'm only trying to point out innacuracies but I'm often too rude. (hangs head in shame)
Yeah, I drew a pencil sketch of a scene with a missle turret and marines shooting at a devourer and mutalisk, but I didn't like it so I redid the rine/dev part on the computer. Both pictures were done without reference, so please point out the innacuracies.  |

If you're talking about the devourer, he's swooping over the marine; not just staying still like in the game; so he's shooting a stream of acid as he's passing over (you can see the vapor left over behind it.
If you're talking about the marine; well it's hard to see when you're about to be drowned in a big spray of acid and your target it behind it. |

i thought devourers spat their acid spray from their mouths on their heads. Do they use their butt anus mouths? And i thought their orange drooping growth that grow along their chins and necks were their acid glands. |

lol, I always thought that they were just mutalisks crossed with beetles; I figured they had the exact same structure but devourers had plates of carapace and some muscly limbs and some beetle-like wing-things. So I just assumed they fired from the bottom and the head things were just random horns. Too bad they don't ever fire in the cinematics. |

yes MoH has it right when you slow it down in game the devourer recoils its head and its acid shoots from the lower end.
