DT Uncloaked: colored pencils

Here's a BW sprite style Dark Templar I've been working on on and off for a while. Don't give me an argument that the blades should be green because the sprite has a blue blade and this was based off of the sprite model in the manual. He has no cape or leg wrappings, I left those off on purpose. I may work on this more to fix up the shoulders and coloring a bit, the dull colored pencils and rough paper made the picture much less sharp than I had intended, but if I never post an update, here it is.

It's pretty good. There are a few probs a see with it.
The head looks a little short to me.
I'm not really sure, I've never looked at the concept drawings but isn't it supposed to be more of a sword instead of a blade?
And finnaly isn't there supposed to be like a cloak... and a face mask?
Besides all that though it does look good. |

I think that the warp blade is accurate, and that's why it's called uncloaked; it's not invisible and it took off its cloak/mask. I also said that I left those off on purpose in the description. Thanks for the comments |

The warp blade is pretty accurate like you said, however there are a few flaws: the left shoulder is too big and the right one too small. Same thing goes for the legs. Well I see you have a problem with perspective views. Now don't panic, nobody gets it right at the beginning. Look at other perspective pics on SC.org or deviant.com and see how the limbs are proportioned. You can even copy some just to get the feel in your own hands, believe me it's a good way to practice such things. After you get a general feel then try to make your own. If you still feel uncomfortable use the other sketches just for reference until you do.

Oh and one more thing, after your done coloring sharpen the edges and grey pencil lines. It will give it a more refined look . |

Im sorry, BUT I dont like it way to fuzzy im sorry but it just takes away from the image, on the other hand you got the protoss anatomy right and it looks acurate if not a bit hunched. |

The right side in general is way too skinny, i know you want depth in this, but you cant just make it skinnier to make it look further back, also, the left forearm looks bulgy in the front and huge =/ I hate pencil crayons so i withhold my vote.
