We wake with a start,
Knowing it’s those damn creatures,
That they call the Zerg.

Shouting and screaming,
And more howls of despair,
Is all that we hear.

We run out the tent,
All that meets our faces,
Is death in our eyes.

Yet it is our duty,
Our duty to serve, protect,
All that we hold dear.

Women and children,
Sons, daughters, friends, family,
Is all that we have.

Yet the time will come,
When I fall forevermore,
Into my final rest.

I will lie in peace,
Knowing I fought till the end,
While others weep.

Can you hear that noise?
It’s those damn creatures again,
That they call the Zerg.
