Starcraft

Days have past since Zorj’s capture. He lazily stands in the water-filled cell, looking at the scientists doing their research, thinking if he’s going to live. Suddenly, something exploded on the door. He can’t see it because a shelf and a few tables were blocking his view. What happened? He hears all the scientists panic and running around in fear. One scientist was clenching on his little rosary, kneeling down on the floor and praying very hardly for his safety as the others were killed by a mysterious object. This was long like a tail of an animal, with spikes on its ends. This stabbed all the scientists except for the one who was praying. “Damn! I’m gonna face death again!” Zorj exclaims.

After the chaos, a scaly, two-toed foot stepped out of the shelf. Zorj’s heart was pounding in fear, his sweat was flowing out fast. Was he going to be the next victim? What will happen to Zorj? The creature had revealed himself to Zorj, “It’s time for me to save your ass, Captain!” the figure speaks. Zorj realized that it was another hybrid, like himself. “Who are you?” Zorj asks, the other hybrid steps to the computer and enters a command. The cylinder opens and the water has drained. “I’m Private Lynic. Can you remember? In the bunker last month?” the hybrid explains, “Lynic? I thought you were dead! “ Zorj Exclaims in surprise, “It’s a long story, Let’s get out of here before they call in some reinforcements.” Lynic explains as he walks to the door. The two hybrids ran out the hallway to the exit. Lynic on the lead and was followed by Zorj.

They’ve made it out of the research facility and into a nearby forest. The two were panting heavily, gasping for air. “So, wold you like to tell me how you survived?” Zorj gasps, “After I was tranquilized by the Xel ‘Naga, I found myself in a white room with a Xel ‘Naga in front of me. He explained to me everything ncluding the mission.” Lynic explains and sits by a wide trunk of a tree, “I fell unconscious and woke up in a desert. I wandered the desert and found an old dropship. I checked it out and then flew off here. They told me to rescue you.” Lynic Explains, Zorj silently nodded and sat down by the shoreline of a nearby lake. They rested there for a while and then continue to look for Duran.

For weeks, they searched and looked everywhere they can possibly find him. Finally, they reached a small encampment then they snuck their way through and stealthily entered the Command Center. They looked for the main office and found Duran gazing at the window pane. “Welcome, I’ve been expecting you. What do you need?” Duran asks and faces the two weary hybrids. “The Xel ‘Naga are asking for aid.” Replies Lynic, “Ah! The Xel’ Naga! Yes, but what proof can you give me to make me believe you?” Duran asks in an eerie voice. The two hybrids looked at each other and thought of a plan. “Follow us,” Zorj requests, “We’ll demonstrate to you the power of the Xel ‘Naga!” Lynic adds. The three immediately proceeded deep into the forest looking for a small enemy outpost.
