Nice desciption.

I can't give much points for the terrain - it's ashworld so it looks dull by default (imo).

It looks very nice but i fear that terran will wreak havoc with their tanks and the small chokes.
Also, blues lava patch is kinda smaller than the others so he has more room to build.

Red is way closer to his expo than any other player.

Yeah, terran own this map, I'll admit, but it's because the basis of this map is just cliffs. Hard to terrain on ashworld. And yeah, red's a bit closer, but its not a huge deal - its just flat gorund for everyone.

It might be a little hard for blue since his expo is much further away.

Wasn't the earth mostly covered by water in the precambrian?

Who knows? who knows?

There arent much differences in the mineral patches once they reach the lowest 'graphic', though indeed it might look better if you have some variation there.

Terran imbalanced, every mineral deposit including mains is tankable, which will overpower tanks a damnsight. I feel for you, i have seen enough ash maps to know its damn near inpossible making a good looking one. This however, is good looking. But not enough, MORE DOODADS .
My suggestions to you: get rid of at least 1 choke point, fill it in completely, zerg wont be able to defend from a potential of four chokepoints, especially the one that overlooks main. Tank drops arent necessary, you can quite easily 'walk' tanks between bases using outer cliffs and siege above a helpless main.
Give this some thought, you could really make something out of this.
