You've asked and begged and wanted it for quite some time, and here it is! I am proud to give to you all, the return of the Starcraft.org Replay section!

It will function just as all our other popular sections do, using the same submission system. Just "Submit Content" and select the Replays channel. Before long you'll be sharing and watching each others' battles for glory and honor!

The section can be access via the links on the left-hand side of the site, or you can visit the rather short list of Popular/New Replays on the bottom of the right-hand listing. Else, you can also use this quick link to the NEW Replay Section.

More updates and changes are on their way!

ah, and also, it would be nice if you can like, use race badges beside the names on the replay, so if someone is looking for example only for ZvT's, they can find them easily.

in any case, good job!

also, we might want to make a specific section for the good players and progamers.. So if someone is looking for replays to really LEARN of, they know where to look

What about compatibilty? I don't know, but sometimes those replays are bugged because people save them with another application.

We can post our own reps...but can we post others' reps? This proberbly relates to really uber replays from other sites, that proberbly won't come here unless someone posts.

Try Battlenet - when you connect on it should automatically check for updates.

Failing that, the blizzard official site should have it somewhere.

Finally, good job with the replay section

What is mean is this ZeratulDraco.

You say you have a cracked BW copy. So i assume it's illigal. If you download games, you steal money from Blizzard. Money they might use for SCII ffs.

And i'm against illigal software in general.

If that's not what you meant with 'cracked broodwar', then i'm sorry for my rant.

I think "Cracked Broodwar" is ... Broodwar without CD bt you can still play it.
When you load it it shows "RAZOR 1911:Auto-load broodwar virtual crack patch..."
Heeeheee I don't have to use cracked sc anymore I bought a battle chest rofl you get a book with cool stuff in it and sc music wahahahaha...

I don't go to Bnet either I'm too lazy to get my CD-Key rofl ----

In all sympathy towards you, my poor little friend, perhaps you are on the wrong site?

I assume SC.org does not endorse 'hacking' ect...

Yes. I do know all about the wonderful world of hacks and nice simple no-cd patches, but, geez, if you're that stupid not to know how to install a patch, and you have a cracked version...

...Why.. Perhaps you should go to whoever gave you your crack. You obviously don't seem to know.

Sorry if that sounded harsh. But you shouldn't be cracking SC.

PS. RAZOR 1911 is an aaanncciieenntt crack for SC. They went overboard with their cracks, unneccesarily. Won't work with new versions, unless they made a new crack. Don't think they did. That'll be all.

ZeratulDraco, we as a habit try to avoid endorsing an type of 'cracking' of StarCraft. If you want the newest patch, getting a legitimate copy of the game is the best thing to do for two reasons:

1. You can DL the patch straight from B.net
2. You can actually go on B.net.

Aside from that, it's actually legal to buy a legitimate copy, and really, $20 or £10 is just a few mown lawns/cars washed away.

We do provide patches on the site, because, sometimes, people have no desire to go on b.net or for whatever reasons can't get onto b.net. Maybe they have to dl the patch elsewhere because they don't have web access at home (I know I used to do this).

However, I'd encourage you to get a real copy. B.net gaming is a major part of StarCraft as a game.

Plus, it's all moral and will make you feel warm inside.

Alternatively it'll give Blizzard a bit more money for SC 2 ;p

Now, can we please have an end to any discussion about cracks or hacks that lead to the game being played illegally. I'd like it if no-one would drag up any arguements about 'the man' and we can get along as if we all actually bought our copies. If you do have a cracked copy though, I'd urge you to do two things:

1. Not mention it, and not be surprised if you are getting unusual problems that a simple reinstall won't fix.
2. Buy the game. It's really not that much and you're not being ripped off, honest

I'd like to suggest converting the replay section into:

-a 2v2 folder (or any team game)
-a 1v1 folder (this can be the main)
-a FFA folder

I still love it anyways.

You know, you can use No-cd patches and such and still go on Battle.net. An even worse version is hacking. See how it all connects?

Neither am I.

You've got the internet, obviously. Mow some lawns, and buy it. We aren't going to help you circumvent the EULA because you won't shell out $20.

End of, I wouldn't argue this point further, if I were you.

I was gonna post a replay where a dude had only probes till like 30 mins in the game, cause he was eating, not playing. the other dude had ultras and an army of hydras, the zerg dude sent that all after him when he said he was back. and he warned him, so he goes and starts building gateways like crazy and ends up with tons of zealots the 2 armies clash hydras and ultras VS zealots and the zealots win. The dude goes on to win the game, after he won that battle he went and attacked the other dudes main base. ITS TIGHT!!! but i couldn't get it on.... it wouldn't let me. I was the person who had too eat and had zealots, it was awesome

Yewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Replays!

Anyways, are there going to be any rules as to replay posting? Because there should be...but, they have to be allowing. You know, getting rid of the absolute rubbish replays of a 3 hour uber noob battle, or a 30 second replay.

Hmm...maybe a 3 hour noob supreme would be interesting.....

gUl$t@Ff_tH3_l33T: lmao, im@ pwn u, N00B

30 Minutes Later...

gUl$t@Ff_tH3_gR3@T:ha, i g0t @ l0t, w0t n0w?

He sends the innocent zealot to attack the enemy base, and attacks a bunker.

Eventually the other gets a marine into the bunker, but too late, the zealot destroys the bunker. The marine then defeats the zealot, but not before the zealot delivers the fatal blow.

gUl$t@Ff_tH3_l33TMGRZ! BOB! y0ull p@y f0r d@t!

1 Hour Later...

gUl$t@Ff_tH3_l33T:LMA0!!!!11 t@k tHi$!!!

The lone marine sweats, despite the icy climate. He hopes that his commander doesn't send him to attack the mighty protoss base without good backup.

His com unit crackles to life. "You are to advance on the enemy base immediately after air support and infantry come in to your location."

Air support? A small spark of hope appears in his heart as a giant shadow passes over him. The marine looks up. It's...

gUl$t@Ff_tH3_l33t:ha, ive g0t v@lk$, w0t n0w, NOOB?

gUl$t@Ff_tH3_gR3@T:bRinG iT 0n, NOOB!

The brave, yet unfortunate marine charges in with his firebat support, to be pawned by a pair of dragoons who then chase the valkeyries back to the terran base, and to their horrer, discover a science facilty, with something attached to it!

1 Hour and 30 Minutes Later...

The probes continue to buzz along doing their task, and then stop. They see several specks of red over the otherwise blue base.

They turn away to preform their duties, not noticing the white words pop up on the scanner:

Nuclear Launch Detected

Meanwhile the few scouts fire the last shot at the enemy command center just as the hear a explosion in the distance.

And so ends our 3 hour noob epic.
