Past Starcraft.org Staff (2008)

This is a list of Staff Members from a few years ago, please note these are not current staff.

AJ — Webmaster

In addition to running Starcraft.org as its current webmaster, AJ is also the main administrator for the ORG Network. This means he is also in charge of our network forums, WarBoards, as well as our various other sites. This all leaves AJ with the important task of ensuring our network's future and also focusing on day-to-day needs for Starcraft.org

Mystikal — Server/Site Maintenance

Mystikal was Starcraft.org's primary programmer for many years. He was responsible for writing the scripts and lines of code that held Starcraft.org together and the content management system currently in use, Ixius. His current role is to provide support and logistical assistance to Starcraft.org through his role at our host, DarkStar Communications.

Ktan — Senior Community Manager

Ktan has been visiting StarCraft.org for many years, and is enjoying this opportunity to help our wonderful site. He has recently been assigned the job as Senior Community Manager. His tasks now include responding to submitted feedback, overseeing all of the Section Moderators, as well as keeping an eye on our community and helping to put out any fires.

protogod — Senior Content Editor

Stumbling across SC.org in 2001, proto is keenly interested in the StarCraft community; as much as - if not more than - the game itself. In early 2008, proto was promoted to the role of Senior Content Editor. This new role places him in charge of all user-submitted content to Starcraft.org - acting as the general supervisor for all submission-based content areas of the site.

deadlyassassin — Fan Fiction Moderator

Deadlyassassin’s history with StarCraft.org is a long one, and he hopes that it will only lengthen now that he has been appointed as one of the Fan Fiction moderators. He enjoys spending his time online with friends or writing fan fiction for the site, and is thrilled at the chance to help make the section even better than it is now.

Hotorn — Fan Fiction Moderator

Well, I'm 16, I live in Shumen, Bulgaria which is in Eastern Europe. I train parkour, like to write from time to time anything from poems to cyberpunk stories, that's about it, if you need any help, give a holler.

X9 — Fan Fiction Moderator

X9 is the youngest staff member and joined the site in July 2006. X9 is a dedicated Fan Fiction writer and has been writing extensive fan fictions in multiple fiction universes. He looks forward to improve StarCraft.org even more with his new responsibilities!

BrotherGreen — Maps Database Moderator

BrotherGreen has been a member of SC.org and the ORG community for a long time, with spurts of inactivity due to life. Luckily, he has found medicine for that sickness. He is happy to be a moderator of a website he has been a member of for so long.

Harbinger — Maps Database Moderator

Harbinger's home is a fresh SCEdit pallete. He joined SC.org roughly a year or so ago as a simple mapper and slowly climbed his way up to WarBoards Map Reviewer, and now SC.org staff. He has been mapping since '99 and has since become very experienced at it. His specialty is terrain and he loves to chat and give help those who need it.

thedutchjelle — Maps Database Moderator

Jelle enjoys mapmaking for Starcraft, and he also makes maps for some other games. He has made maps for a long time, and now he can finally help the site with their map database.

Ahzz — News Poster and Strategy Section Moderator

Ahzz has been around SC.org for a long time now, although sometimes prefers to be more of a lurker than an active poster. He is very experienced with StarCraft gaming and the strategies involved, and is also familiar with the StarCraft progaming scene.

lammas — Strategy Section Moderator

lammas has been posting to SC.org strategy section and other StarCraft sites more or less actively for a few years. He used to play seriously in various clan-leagues and ladders but is nowadays focusing more on posting to strategy forums.
