Start out by mining lots of minerals. Keep building SCVs and supply depots until you have enough money for 1-2 barracks. After you'vs made the barracks, start training marines until you have around 10-20 marines. Build an acedemy and train at least 5 medics. Make sure you upgrade marine attack range, stim packs, and +50 medic energy. Bring ur marines and medics to your chokepoint and have the marines stim constantly.
Build and engineering bay and start upgrading the infantry armor. Build turrets at your chokepoint and make a few firebats. After you've done that, build a couple of factories and machine shop. Upgrade siege mode for tanks and the charon boosters for goliaths. Build tanks and siege them at your chokepoint. After you have a reasonable amount of tanks (5-7), start climbing the tech tree and upgrade all the attack and defence for the infantry units, and the ground and air units. Build a couple of goliaths to help fend off overlords or so. At your starport, build Wraiths and Battlecruisers. Make sure you have the Yomata and +50 energy for Bcs upgraded and put them aside for your attack army.
After you have about 5 battlecruisers and wraiths, build at least 3 tanks, 7 goliaths, 10 marines with medics, and 2-3 ghosts. Build CC with Nukeclear Silos and keep building Nukes constantly. Before attacking with your army, nuke the enemy a couple of times so that their factories and starports are destroyed. After you have completed that, sned in ur tanks and goliaths. Siege you tanks so that the SCVs trying to rebuild the structers are destroyed. Then, send in your wraith and marines to attack the enemies. Finally, sned your BCs in to destroy the turrets with the Yomata Cannon. With that force you should take out the enemy pretty fast.
This strategy make not be very effective on Experts, so i suggest trying it on normal players.
P.S.- This strategy would work best on a "Fastest Map" game.

I don't understand why people posts strats like these... is it some sort of drive to contribute despite being noobs? Or is it just that they think they're strats are good enough for a submit? Below Average On a money map, in the time that you can finish upgrading your infantry, lurkers and reavers will abound. Any decent enemy will be able to kill off a few ghosts with the orderly bases on a money map, and a little spell micro will leave such a badly balanced force in ruins. |

pretty bad this was ridiculous what do you think the enemy is going to be doing while you're teching to BATTLECRUISERS, sitting and waiting? building more peons? if they see a well defended choke (which i'm not sure yours is) then they may possibly think to use some differant tactics? and remember that by the time you have BCs, they will have similar units. you can, for instance, pretty much garuntee (no i can't spell) a drop (assuming money map) long before you finish your build. basically this is defeated just by normal noob play. sorry. ps you said would work best on 'fastest' maps. yes, it would be impossible on anything but, seeing as you have no expansions and no way of defending expansions so not anywhere near enough income pps unless you have at least 2 allys and the enemy are pretty bad, defending and fast teching to high units, usually BC or carrier, is a bad idea. they will gang up on your allys and you won't be able to save them. because some intelligence and scouting will show what you're doing. so you'll have BCs, sure, but it will be 1v3. not so good. re nuking how about attack, either just with a small force or everything, up to you, then drop ghosts at back and nuke CC. they will be distracted and unable to defened choke and find ghosts. either they lose their CC or you break through and kill them. doing these things one at a time lets them sucessfully deal with each threat. distraction is important in SC! happy gaming |

lol i never read the hole thing but i guess i was to tierd that day oh well il read it now. he..hehe.. not what i realy put in as a strat lol damn i need to think befor i move not what i would do in a game if i were terran heres what i would do. 1.i would get rines and medics very fast and start attacking just to keep them conncintrated on the attack. 2.when there focusing on my attack i would get gas and build factory and get tanks. (by the time im about a qurter way done with my fatory perhaps less my rines and medics would be dead). then id send my tank's and M&M's to attack them. the M&M's would backup the tanks just in case of air or close combat attackers. and while thats happing i would get starport's. 4-8 of them. then i would get some wraith's. adout 3 set's of 12. and try to kill there main base and any peon thats near. (i still dont know what peon means.) and with that done it should cut some of there recorses down.(i did realise that they will probly have terrints) after that i would get a few nuke's and ghost's to kill off there expo's. and then i would just kill him/her with anything else i got for that matter. thats what i would do if i wer terran.(my worst race so dont call me a noob about what i said cause i suck at terran.) |

this strat is horrible for low money. and in fastest, while you've been upgrading infantry, your opponent prob has mech units, or air already. Tech > Rush anytime, the only Tech weakness is that theyre defensless in the beggining. But on a fastest map they can tech and defense, so not a good strat at all. And this isnt even good agaisnt normal players, sorry. | ||||||

and yes MrBobby, that was funny.. My little fanfic on this: The Terran's readied themselves, waiting for the opposing Zerg Brood to rush their main entry point. Even though they had a superior force, their infantry's dicsipline was horrible. The Marines and Firebats constantly injected themselves with Stim Paks, trying to get high. As each unit started to OD, the medics had to go heal them. Soon the medics were out of energy, panting for breath. And on cue, the Zerg rushed. Since all the units were stimmed up, their fire rate was incredible. They decimated anything that approached them, and even a bunch of mighty ultralisks. However, after those glorious minutes, their strength became depleted, and they're fire rate returned to normal. A group of Hydralisks and Zerglings rushed the entry point, blowing up bunkers and firebats, slicing marines and medics. All was lost because half the force OD'd, and the other half died because the medics were too tired. Can't blame the commander, he's suppose to be the smart one, right? Pfft, just imagine if someone plagued you while you were stimming uselessly in your base.. 12 zerglings would decimate your whole base, lmao. Now i'm going to try this agaisnt a comp, lmao. |
