Zen And The Art Of Timingpush

100 suply timing push (or rush) was first done by the Terran Emperor many years ago (2001?). Ever since it has been importnant tactic in tvp and even today many players base their tvp pretty much on it ((ToT)daze( every tvp game goes with it... even on maps where it makes no sense ._.). Point is to gather army untill 100 suply. When toss goes for second expansion he will lose the suply adventage toss usually has early game. When this happens terran attacks, either killing toss right away (only if toss has fucked up macro or poor timing or something)or then just moving out of his base so that he is able to put up solid push
and then after a few minutes pushing toss exp out.

Build order:

1) for wallable maps (lt for expample):

9/10 suply to ramp
11/18 barracks
send scout scv.
12/18 gas
15/18 suply to complete your wall
16/18 factory
after this ill only list building that you make. Just keep pumping scvs all the time and when you have minerals build what is said here (after expansion i havent listed suply depots).

start pumping marines. Make 6of them.

Take 1scv 6marines and tank. Attack. Send vultures to help in attack. If your opponent does good micro with goons and you cant get to his base dont go. If you can kill goon or two while heading to his base go for it. It can be possible to kill his expansion with this but remember that main point is just to secure your own exp and getting him hurt is just bonus. Mine all around. However note that this can lose badly vs dt drop reaver drop and many other styles. To make this safely you need to read game well but that comes with experience.

When to attack?

6tanks 12vultures 4scvs (should be somewhere around 100suply can be before thought) you attack, break out of his goon containment assuming he has one in front of your base (with good micro you can get 10 cheap goon kills here by setting mines behind and front of goons so that he can just stand there when you kill them with tanks) and set up strong push outside his exp. make turrets all around.

However it can be better to attack earlier than with 6tanks and 12vultures but youll learn those situations after a few dozens tries.

When not to attack?

If he doesnt make second expansion early (he has like 6gates before he exps). Now you wont have army big enought to kill him and its better to not take risk of losing army while pushing. So just expand yourself. Toss has to expand (you haras with vultures) too. If he exps only once you are in lead cause 2exp terran > 2exp toss. If he exps twice you might be able get very strong push going before his economy really kicks in.

Might be other situations too (if toss has very early first exp if he has done harasment etc) but youll learn those too by experience.

Good - I thought it was good solely because it tells people when to attack, alot of people's flaw is attacking initially than wait until 200/200 to attack again. It is smart to attack at 100/200 (not always) but it is important to attack in that mid stage

Good strategy, and trust me, timing push is kinda really scary for toss, prolly only thing more scary is the infamous 200/200 turtling terran with nat and min only. Good strategy, and good idea mention DaZe, but i doubt pretty much anybody knows who DaZe is, anyways good job, well written.
