First off, do the obvious thing. Make SCVs. Start mining. When your 8th SCV is being built, make a supply depot. Keep the SCV that made a supply depot next to where the depot is. Keep making depots when necessary. Also make a comsat station to find your enemies early. Make about 5-7 SCVs then start making a barrack or two and an engineering bay while more SCVs are being built. After your barrack is completed, start mining gas. Make some bunkers around your choke point(s) and start filling them with rines. Make an academy and make some bats and some medics to cover your bunkers. Remember to upgrade stim packs and +50 Medic Energy and DEFINITELY upgrade your units. Remember to keep making SCVs while doing this. While upgrading, make some more rines and stim all of them. Also, make factories and machine shops. Make tanks and goliaths and upgrade Siege Mode. While doing this, make turrets in the spots you feel are most important (around barracks, CCs, factories, and most importantly, your choke point).

I'm sure that by this point, if you're not playing against many other people, the person (or people) that you're fight will have attacked by now (especially if they're zerg). Just make sure you have plenty of medics to cover your bats and some SCVs to cover your bunkers when you're being attacked. Have your tanks siege at the choke point and around your SCVs. If there are any open resource areas, send some SCVs there and make a CC. put your goliaths and most importantly, your tanks. Mostly surround your CC with goliaths and put the tanks at the choke point. At your main base continue making tanks goliaths, and rines (rines are oppional). Next, make armories (I'd say at least 2 to upgrade faster) and Starports. Upgrade your ground armor and ground attack first. Make science facilities for your BCs (if you like using ghosts early, make a science facility with a covert ops during the time your making tanks and use them for your defence).

Don't bother making wraiths. They're useless. Instead focus on upgrading your BCs BEFORE a lot of them are made. Send some to your main choke point (if you have more than one) and send the others to your major areas to help the turrets. Now you should make some ghosts. Make more CCs (mostly at your extra bases) and make nuke. silos. Remember to make some turrets and good units to protect your extra bases. They are very important when versing 1-3 people in an 8 person map. They too, will have extra bases. Obviously, make nukes. Check your enemies with your comsat to see what they have been doing. Finally, the fun part. Send 2 or 3 ghosts to the main base and if possible, hit their supply building (depots, pylons, and overlords). If not possible, kill their major units and try to get to their unit- making buildings (starports, spires, robotic facility). Remember to build the nuke RIGHT after it is launched.

Be sure to make a lot of BCs and then send them to the extra bases. Also, make sure you have fully upgraded your units. Keep nuking major areas if possible, and then send your BCs in to the main bases once they are done with the extra bases. If your opponent has an ally, make sure to keep sending more units into the enemy bases to make sure you don't get finished off quickly. While attacking the enemy, make some stronger units but keep them at your base. This is useful for 2 reasons. 1. if the enemy starts attacking you, your base will have some defence and 2. if you the enemy's ally send a hoard of units to where you're attacking, you may get finished off so have units back at your base would decrease retaliation time. When one of your opponents is eliminated, send your units back to your bases. Do the same thing to the other enemy. If you're only versing one person, then you probably have won.

P.S. this may not always work (especially against pros) and I use this strategy only at Fastest maps, so I suggest you only use them there also.

this was unfortunately idiotic. first, why waste money on bunks?? terran is the only race on fastest where money can be tight depending on what you do, ie fast tech = hardly any minerals comparitively speaking. anyway, instead of bunkers, just use your barracks to block the choke. get firebats early (for vs zealots in partic). nukes are easily countered, much better is tank push with infantry/metal support, ie infantry, mines and gols to stop anything getting near your tanks.... on fastest terran is mostly good for support and harass. good harass tactics are get dropship early, drop as many firebats as you have at this point near their main... stim, and run to kill workers. even if they have a couple sunks/a bunker/a couple cannons, just try and get to the workers. coz stimmed bats can kill all workers almost instantly. just try to go, first, for the side with most workers. also good, vs terran and zerg, is irradiate. get science vessels asap. irradiate workers mining both sides of the minerals. repeat until they get some serious defence. once they get serious defence, use a couple more SVs, defensive matrix them and irradiate again.
wraiths are NOT useless. what if you have a zerg going air? i bet some wraiths will come in useful.... if you're trying to protect a BC army.
ghosts trying to nuke unsupported by other units will fail against any decent player
OF COURSE this won't work not on fastest... don't be silly
you should make more barracks latter and keep building infantry, they dont cost much and you should have plenty of spare resources, espec for minerals, and so might as well have them. the kind of mass attack they will use will tear through mines/tanks because of shear numbers.
pretty bad. just because there wasnt really anything useful here. and the stupid bits. like "While upgrading, make some more rines and stim all of them". well you already said you researched stim.... so just stim them? for no reason? eh? basically.... try revising a bit before you post. CHECK for mistakes and things that make no sense.

*Waste of brain space.

Anyhow, this sounds like a typical noob strategy that has never been tried before. CC's can't make a Comstat when on a fastest map cuz they dont fit, and otherwise, this is a typical "build strong units at base and send BC's to other bases" strategy. Oh yea... with nukes. I agree with everything MrBobby says. Next time, research, try it out, and read some other strategies before you write.

get U238 shells first and trash the 50+ up for med, you wont need it. If your medic is out of energy I rather use them to scout and get a more detailed picture of the enemy's base, i mean its fastest, abuse the fact your crystal ore total is like 50,000 times 25-50. Wraiths dont suck, but if you are going to use them on fastest, you have to have atleast 10 and monitor them.
You gotta scout over and over man.
It all depends what race the enemy is and what they decide to do.
I wont go say its bad, everyone has to start somewhere.
Dont bother to nuke, save the supply and just mass those BCs man.

(Im not noob, everyone I play is just gosu)

Ok. I read the first line and I don't need to know that this is terrible. I'm not going to even say anything because this totally is an embarrisment to me as a pro terran player.

to me as a pro terran player.

No offense or anything but I find it so annoying when people (below C+ pgt or am I totally mistaking?) use words like "pro" "gosu" "expert" out of themselfs T_T Or actually I dont know you maybe you are really ex or strelok or uh well those are the 2 foreign terrans who could call themselfs pro.

Using a comsat station as a method of scouting early game is ridiculous.

This is an absolute piece of shit.Obvious things like "Build SCVs and make supply depot when you need them in teh future!!11!1"and also wraith isnt useless they are good for harassing(Select 11 wraiths and 1 Siegh tank in siegh mode and order the wraiths to a location then they will stack on top of eachother, its easy to control them..I think you people knew this right??)

lol yeah this is kinda bad >_<. kinda par for the course for strategy, cleaning up needed...lol and to lammas, you gotta realize when people use terms like pro or gosu to describe themselves they are almost always foolish noobs, because people who know sc KNOW what a Bisu/sAviOr game looks like and know they're NOWHERE close to that level and thus have a little more respect for the word gosu/expert. and yeah im sure Ex is posting here...

like i really I thought he was ex? 8D (btw he barely speaks english)
And I know that people who use words like that generally have no idea of how good people can be thats why I pointed it out ^^

So what is the best thing a Terran can do for fastest map? I'm curious..... Is it build supply depot at 6th SCV or what?

First post XP

How 'bout this one: "Don't bother reading this if you have learned to read".

Or: "Don't bother reading this if you have something better to do like stabbing eyes with pencil".

Or maybe: "Don't bother reading this if you have read this far already".

I'd personally like: "Don't bother making retarded, trying to be so funny comments when you obiusly don't have anything to say?" the best.
