I have no idea what that had to do to with anything. They played on a ladder, all of them played DIFFERENT opponents, and different times. For example Draco could have been #1 if he had played 10 more games or so. ...

yeah the commentator is best one out there. In my opinion that was far from his best shoutcasting, but I think its because he's nervous. He's commentating the best of the best, right there next to them, and even paid for it. Plus there is a massive audience watching him. ...

I play random in 2v2. We got dual terran six to seven times though. Dual races aren't really that much weaker though... At least not in this level. third game vs sc2.hu is missing because the opponent disconnected and didnt come back so we got a walkover. ...

Though nukes are mostly useless and its easy to predict where your opponent is nuking, this covers up nuking strategy quite well, thus , it got accepted. This wont work against experts unless its FFA and he's busy doing a lot of stuff ...

there might be times when sc.org gives out spots, such as in our case. Naturally you can apply as well, but its a different thing wether you get accepted or not. ATM I'm not sure if we have much shortage on staff ...

indeed, this is flawed. The thing is, the goal is not exactly to get fastest possible mutas, its to get faster mutas than your opponent. And they WILL notice your way of playing real soon, and they will beat it too, they'll just make lings, some sunkens, and thats that. When your lings come he will have mutas and its over, you cant beat it then. Though this might work if you hide it well and so on, mainly against less experienced players though ...

I knew that he wasnt, and that's why I didnt make cannons. It's all about scouting and game knowledge. Had he been going for mutas, I would have acted differently. And yeah, I know my zerg is better.. My main matchups are zvt/zvp/pvz... But I only started pvz recently and I have much less experience with it than with other zerg matchups. I just HATE zvz and I hate the luck involved in it, so I changed to pvz, and I've been receiving better results in general. ...

ah this game is a little bit old, so it wasn't my best. Also, I knew that I had to micro carefully and I'd win, so I didnt mind a little surplus. Additionally in the end I knew I had an enormous lead so I stopped trying 100% but yes, you could say that the resources that kept piling up were a flaw of my gameplay. ...

Boxer/nada have used workers AND marines, aka something little called extra offensive bunker rush hmm? if they've used a WORKER RUSH it was in an old patch and using the worker stack attack bug aka allowing them to be in one big chunk and only one that kills pretty much anything in seconds. akar isn't even CLOSE to decent. And he only a WEEK ago started to play competitively. also, akar is INFERIOR to you atm skill wise. Therefore, it doesn't count. When you increase opponents they will seek to aid each other in troubles and therefore when you attack them, keeping one at bay is harder. The main reason, however, is this. When you park you lurkers or whatever, preventing them from attacking, expanding, and all of the book, they can't do what they want to do before moving on. There are starcraft schools in korea, I'm not kidding. And besides, starcraft is their sport. That's all. Instead of athletes, they have starcraft pros. In fact, this one match had a bigger audience than a huge baseball match in US. (they had over 100 000 people in the audience in this boxer vs nada grand finals.) And they amount they earn? at that point they already have disruption way, sometimes they also get in the way, and there already is a sunken (usually) that will hold them back just as well as a spore colony. Often there isnt a spore colony too far away though, but usually it gets D-webbed too. ...

no, I didnt count ums. Like 2 years ago, I had almost 3000 games in STATS in only ONE ACCOUNT, check /stats gigant.dwmt @europe. And From then I've played more games. much more. for the sair reaver, I never said it wouldnt work once in early game, did I? Nope. It will probably work once, at most twice when you first get your 2 reavers. You may be able to pick off an expansion and a few drones, but after that you need bigger armies if you dont want to lose em every time. you make it sound as if you should keep repeating the same process. snipedragon, the thing is, if we get like... 80 people it means that already 16 are getting walk over for first round which mean they gotta wait for around 40 minutes before next game. and that already frustrates many newbies. And especially first tourney. MANY people will join the first one because its first ever done, to see how it works etc. IT gives the impression, and if it doesn't work well, they will just say screw you and never play in those tourneys again unless they're really bored ...

it's not heard a million times over here. And it still works, its just not commonly used since most seem to want a superior economy fast. This strategy has it's risks, but by no means was posting it useless. IT explains everything much better than most strategies here do, and its a build order sometimes used by progamers (before it was used more, but like I said, people tend to want good economy fast these days). nukes as itself are a joke, but there are few rare cases when they can be used as a harass especially if its kinda a draw situation. This strategy explains rather well how to use the nukes and all IF that time comes (it will be TvT, which is every 1/50 games, and in other games every 1/500 games. No no, don't start telling me how you pwned your friend zerg with nukes 10 games a row yesterday or anything, I'm talking about known good top players of the world) ...

the four barracks does work somehow like that, but the buildorder is often done another way. Besides, people almost never do 4 barracks, its mainly 3 barracks with +1 weapons or armor and that crap. Though I guess that's possible too and it can be succesful if you have a bit of a luck ...

egg trick works since rines wont do any damage to the eggs, and if you make two hydras morph to lurkers on a place such as a ramp they cant get through and you have time to get reinforcements, and your lurkers might be enough to kill them too once they finish ...

it looks completely terran weapon with some weird designing. None of the protoss have guns like terrans do, they either have some sort of laser melee weapons/sabres or big cannons. Except for air units. Psi is otherwise to deal damage. HOWEVER, you might make this weapon work with psi, limited shots in a way, kind of like a medic. That would be rather good actually imo. Though you still need to modify the weapon a bit. The weapon itself isn't protoss at all, it should more like be the zealot ...
