#2. Posted on January 05, 2008 08:24 PM. Ok, the debate about the ensnare reducing fire rate is very EASY to solve. Hydra VS Hydra with ensnare. Who wins? The hydra who is NOT ensnare (100% guaranteed win) There you have it! IT REUDCES RATE ,but not in half. As Sam says, it slows about 15,30. I could even say 10%. Is it worth it? Hell yes. This is a good strategy , although there are missing some stuffs. For an example, ZvP situtation, you have to make broodlings out of High Templars otherwise you get stormed pretty bad. This walkthrough will help you complete the map at at least 70% efficiency ranked as 'Expert' Level 1: If you can't pass this level, it means that you are wasting your zealots agaisnt the firebats. Hit and run with dragoons against them and you will lose no units. Then, kill off the marines with the help of your zealots. I've finished the map by using
only mass zealots, killing the computer within 15 mins
mass reavers (12), within 20 mins
mass templars and archons, within 20 mins
and finally mass carriers over 30 mins
This map is actually pretty easy for me, but I've played melee too much (not the best, but skilled) so I didn't know if this map was going to be easy or hard for the majority of the ppl in here...so I'm glad we've set a bar.
