#2. Posted on June 28, 2008 09:16 AM. WTH? Now this was probably the last thing I was expecting from Blizzard. Sure, I had heard a couple of jokes about Diablo III, such as "World of Starcraft will appear after Diablo 3" etc., but I thought they were just, well, jokes :s Anyways, being a Diablo fan, I gotta buy this when it comes out :3 ... #3. Posted on June 11, 2008 02:13 PM. #1 Just add an option to remove all the graphic crap and everyone will be happy. Especially we whose computers are slightly, er, outdated. #5 Now what? Battlecruiser is desperately trying to replace the Valkyrie? :L ... Click here to view this comment. |

#4. Posted on June 01, 2008 08:22 AM. Yucky. Suicide units. Me hates them :< Oh well, I might as well at least try these, since there won't be a chain reaction. Hopefully they won't be too expensive :/ Anyone know if Immortal's shields activate against these...? Probably they will, but I have a strange feeling they won't. PT32: I thought infestors (or something like that) were supposed to do that? Or have the roles been changed? ... Click here to view this comment. |

#6. Posted on May 21, 2008 01:26 PM. Blah, the little bit of hope of SC2 running on my machine just went up in smoke. It doesn't even fulfill the minimun requirements, meaning it won't probably even start. Well, it's not like that's a surprise... It'll probably take a decade before I can even think of affording something which would fulfill the optimal requirements. Too bad I guess, I'll just have to stick with oldies. ... #7. Posted on May 17, 2008 03:18 AM. Now what the hell... I'm starting to think roaches are pretty much impossible to kill without some very, very serious focus firing >_> Creep damaging buildings was something I really wanted to see, IMO it was just strange when it just surrounded existing buildings, yet prevented building on it. Same goes for Zerg structures not taking damage when they were not on the creep, if they could only be built on it, it was just strange when nothing happened if they no longer were on it :/ Do ... #8. Posted on May 16, 2008 04:54 AM. GHOSTNOVA: You know, sequels which have added nothing but a new plot have pretty much never been popular. Take for example UFO: Enemy Unknown and it's sequel, Terror from the Deep. It added pretty much nothing, even though all battles (save a handful of terror missions) took place underwater (in Eneny Unknown they all took place on solid ground), all weapons and such had been copied from Enemy Unknown, only their names and descriptions were changed. The statistics were not similar, they were IDE ... Click here to view this comment. |

#10. Posted on May 07, 2008 10:42 PM. Funny, I chuckled at the fourth question. Dunno why though
Obviously reapers are tough when it comes to harassing and disrupting someone's economy, yet I wonder how useful they are in al all-out assault. IMO planting a wall of mines doesn't sound too bad against swarming Zergs.
EDIT: Darninated typos :-( ...Click here to view this comment. |

#11. Posted on April 25, 2008 04:56 AM. (assuming that unit doesn't require a tech lab add-on) I assume this sentence means reactors are useless if you need to produce most of the tougher vehicles...? Well, it's still handy when the production speed of a barracks is doubled. I bet it'll come in especially handy if you need to put up some defense fast. It's not really surprising the Immortals can survive a nuke but, well, it still sounds insane :-/ ... Click here to view this comment. |

#12. Posted on April 23, 2008 06:52 AM. MedavassD: I don't know if Viking's stats have been lowered, but there's something I do know: Ultralisks are much tougher than before. That should explain pretty much why none of them died in the SC2 vid. ... Click here to view this comment. |

#13. Posted on April 17, 2008 05:52 AM. Well, it's supposed to be an ultimate unit, but with the abilities it currently has, that's hardly true. If Blizzard thinks black hole/time bomb is overpowered, can't they just make them a little less effective? IMO the time bomb never was _very_ powerful anyway :/ ... Click here to view this comment. |

#15. Posted on April 16, 2008 10:39 PM. IMO the black hole was overpowered, but that doesn't mean it should be removed, couldn't it be just changed? Instead of destroying any ships nearby, it could just slow any units in its area of effect while severely damaging them, thus at least giving them an opportunity to flee. It's just crazy when it (practically) instantly destroys any units in its area of effect. The time bomb then? Well, I just can't figure out why on earth it was removed :// I don't get the Mothership warpwhatever ei ... Click here to view this comment. |

#16. Posted on April 16, 2008 12:43 PM. Moving sunken/spore colonies? Ooh, sounds creepy! I've never liked them anyway since they're so vulnerable to long-range attacks (Well, I don't like the Zerg anyway). I wonder how effective they are as an attack force, how fast they can "deploy" themselves and if they can move outside of creep. I hope the Mothership doesn't lose the planet cracker too, it was (and is) my favorite ability, it looks so awesome too :/ Btw, does anyone know do buildings have to be damaged before they can ... #18. Posted on April 08, 2008 08:13 AM. M'eh, this means you need to get an SCV to repair your "medics", instead of medics just healing each other? Uhh, no, I don't like this idea at all. What's wrong with a dropship filled with medics? :-/ Also, this obviously has a huge impact on early Terran play. Down with the Medivac! ... Click here to view this comment. |

#19. Posted on April 08, 2008 08:02 AM. Hmm... I wonder if the corrupted units just go berserk and attack their allies, or if they can be controlled. If so, can their abilities still be used? (IMO I.E. Battlecruisers with Yamato guns blazing against their allies just sound imba :/) And hey, it's true Blizzard doesn't deserve a gold medal (I'm not talking about SC 2, not yet at least) when it comes to releasing games on schedule, but just how many times have their games disappointed you as a whole? #21. Posted on April 05, 2008 01:06 PM. Probably the ultras are darn expensive, besides IMHO Zerg should have at least a few units which can't be killed practically instantly. #24. Posted on March 29, 2008 03:33 AM. IMO it's kinda hard to say which is better, the Queen or the Mothership, since it seems like the Queen's role is clearly defensive, where Mothership's is quite purely offensive. It's kinda hard to say tho', since I don't know all of the Queen's abilities. Well, considering the fact that Protoss players can have multiple Motherships (at least they could, I'm not sure anymore) and Zerg players only a single Queen, I admit that it pretty clearly says the Queen is superior. O' well, we'll see whe ... Click here to view this comment. |

#25. Posted on March 24, 2008 12:00 PM. ^ I completely agree. It's really kinda hard to say anything since I myself haven't played, but basing on what I've heard, the Queen is exactly what I hoped for: A Zerg super unit with loads of awesome abilities! ... Click here to view this comment. |

#26. Posted on March 22, 2008 03:18 AM. Well well... I've always wondered what Blizzard had done before WC 1, especially when I some time ago stumbled upon a very old SNES ROM titled "BlackThorne", just imagine my surprise when I saw Blizzard's logo when the game started to load... Of all the games mentioned, I've played about half of 'em, and have never even heard of the rest. The Lost Vikings is probably the only one I've finished (Well, I've played a couple of matches in Battle Chess if that counts), it's so legendary ... Click here to view this comment. |

#27. Posted on March 17, 2008 06:33 AM. Well... What can I say... First I thought the Zerg would be obliterated since both Protoss and Terran have so many units which are quite obviously anti-Zerg. Now it seems the Zerg is overpowered. An ultralisk that deals triple damage to buildings? Scary o_O Anyways, it seems I got my super unit after all, and it's better than I had ever hoped for: Say hello to the Huge Queen! \o/ I'm only a bit disappointed since the arbiter's recall ability in SC1 was so unique, now all three races can se ... #28. Posted on February 27, 2008 10:08 AM. Karune's Gameplay Blogs are quite interesting, considering how he always tells how he or his enemy used a unit/ability never previously mentioned, and how that unit/ability gave the user the upper hand :] I wonder if that means he A) plays a lot of matches and tells only about a single one B) plays only a handful of matches where he deliberately arranges a situation where the nev unit/ability gives the upper hand C) pulls the Gameplay Blogs out of thin air or D) something else? Oh, wait, n ... Click here to view this comment. |

#29. Posted on February 25, 2008 10:36 AM. AeronEe: Zerg sure looks good in purple if we're talking about SC1, but, uh, looking at that ultralisk I'm not sure that goes for SC2 too o_O But on one thing I agree: I want to see it attack with four tusks as well )

#30. Posted on February 23, 2008 09:15 AM. DraskyVanderhoff: Well, you're probably right, but it'd still be awesome if there would be some kind of super unit, if not in normal games then at least in the campaign. You know, I was even kinda disappointed the Overmind and the cerebrates had no offensive capabilities (if detector doesn't count), considering they were the "big bosses" of the swarm, if you know what I mean :3 But that's all right if there won't be one, Zerg is my least favourite race anyway so I can live withou ... #32. Posted on February 22, 2008 06:50 AM. ^Why not? Both Protoss and Terran have a super unit, IMO Zerg should also get one, but they should never be able to have more than one at a time, since Zerg = swarming And I'm kinda disappointed Karune confirmed so soon that the thing actually is the new ultralisk, considering all the ruckus the picture caused it would've been funny if he actually said that the picture is fake or something ...Click here to view this comment. |

#36. Posted on February 13, 2008 10:56 PM. Wouldn'n it be easier to balance the three races if they'd make all of them simultaneously? I'm not an expert but, m'eh, that's just my opinion :/ At least I'm worried what'll happen to Zerg since both Protoss and Terran have an insane amount of weapons which are obviously anti-Zerg (for example the Colossi which now have the insane splash damage, which'll probably cut all Zerg ground units to shreds since they all probably will have low hp and armor ://) ... #37. Posted on February 03, 2008 07:36 AM. Or maybe the teleportation went haywire for some reason causing their atoms to spread across the galaxy...? #39. Posted on January 28, 2008 03:20 AM. IMO it looks like the teleportation thing was pulled out of thin air. For example the blue flash appears when Aldaris/Raszagal are killed, and still in game it pretty clearly say they both just die. Also, Fenix says that his "ruined body was recovered". I don't remember the whole sentence, but it sounds more like his body was recovered from the battlefield, and not from some safe place where to he was supposedly teleported.
