Don't have straight lines if you can help it because it looks as if someone made the cliffs or made the shore instead of it being random and natural. Second, there are too many minerals and the placements are unbalanced. Teal has about twice as much as red as far as I can tell. Also, don't pack the crystals in densely with no gaps between them please. Third, you could do better with a little more varied terrain, and a few more doodads, but that isn't as important as ... It doesn't look natural to have mud in a straight line in one place, and cliffs in a line in another place, maybe have it go back and forth or something. It is a lot easier to have only one trigger per unit that you get, then when you get the unit it goes to a certain place. At that place all of player 1's units go to their base, player 2's to theirs, and so on. So you don't have to make 8 times as many triggers. ... Click here to view this comment. |

Maybe the guide would have told me if he got farther but idk, lol. So after my tank started getting hurt I cloaked and got to the end. If Blizzard just throws in a lot of unfair units and 'balances' them by making them really expensive and costly, it would just be contributing to having more stupid reasons for money maps. They really should be balancing this game along the way, keeping things in mind while coming up with new units, like how much the other races would need a counter and such. In the first starcraft it was annoying to see when the computer finds your base at the edge of the map, having never been there. Now, if we kill the scouts they can't find us? Just 2 concerns after playing it about ten times in a row: 1. The map takes a while 2. Some specials I wouldn't want to get, so I have to avoid taking the capitals. There was only two terrain types: dirt and compoun which were just arranged in a line. Also, no doodads. Very boring, all you have to do is fix bunkers and watch the lings die for 30 minutes. ... I liked the idea of gathering the pieces, but I made this map really quickly. So I'm thinking about making a better one with more pieces to find, (and a little bit easier difficulty). Thanks ...
