#1. Posted on May 07, 2008 06:12 PM. Kinda silly, and not really my thing so I didn't give you a rating. However, it is relatively free of errors...you might want to give it a quick run through and fix one or two little issues. Other than that, keep it up I guess. ... Click here to view this comment. |

#2. Posted on May 04, 2008 01:55 PM. I am with what Crazy said. I am sure I will probably stick mostly to SC. Sure, SC2 will be incredible and a blast to play, but I am too nostalgic...and probably too broke to upgrade my system for SC2. ...Click here to view this comment. |

#3. Posted on April 30, 2008 09:36 AM. I didn't really find this terribly useful as you would be teching through the Queens nest anyways, although I did like how you mentioned ensnaring the resource line. See those pesky DT. At any rate, having the hydras will help protect your queens against corsair. Average. ... Click here to view this comment. |

#5. Posted on April 29, 2008 08:11 PM. This is actually a pretty valid strategy. Sure, they might spot the pylon/one or two cannons early on. What will they do? They will attack it with strength and you see exactly their tech level. Even if the cannons don't survive, it can be useful for recon. Best of situations, you get an HT or two there before your cannons are toast. Even one cannon can be enough to piss them off as it slows there expo (first builder out runs of course) and gives you an eye on things. Good, although you don't nee ... #6. Posted on April 29, 2008 08:04 PM. I personally have never found much use beyond early-mid game for vultures, but then again, Terran isn't my strong suit. As was mentioned, this is all fairly obvious bits, but it was well written without any glaring errors, and that usually scores fairly high in my book. Good. ... Click here to view this comment. |

#7. Posted on April 29, 2008 07:58 PM. Take a combo of what force and sam said. Ensare reduces ROF by the same amount stim increases it (an ensnared, stimmed rine fires at the same rate as an un-stimmed rine). It is a tricky spell to use and you have to perfect your timing, as well as decide what you want to cast it on. Ensare isn't particularly useful against carriers unless they are running to recharge shields, but it is wonderful against all Terran air as it overcomes cloak and slows ROF, as mentioned. I think what people don' ... Click here to view this comment. |

#8. Posted on April 29, 2008 07:40 PM. Vortez is right...flaring a lurker seems like a solid idea. However, how often do you see 'a' lurker. Nice thought though, and something I hadn't considered before. ... Click here to view this comment. |

#9. Posted on April 27, 2008 07:58 PM. Good solid story this go round with a challenging beginning (lost a whole handful of marines to one storm and those reavers were a pain to draw out) with reinforcement of the base being pleasantly difficult. However, the hunt for Mojo proved to be rather uneventful. Dull really. Might consider adding some AI to the Zerg to make it a little more challenging. Sieging along the canyons and whatnot was somewhat tedious. Also, you might consider continuous spawn of observers (one dies, make anoth ... Click here to view this comment. |

#10. Posted on April 27, 2008 02:38 PM. Eh, that's why I said in my opinion. I haven't really watched many ZvT replays (only effective use in game I have had the chance to see it used effectively against vessel) so it doesn't surprise me that I am mistaken and I stand corrected. On that note, any replays up yet? And if so, where? ... Click here to view this comment. |

#11. Posted on April 25, 2008 07:50 AM. It definitely does depend on who you play against. Still, Zerg holding majority in the top fifteen with only three Terran ranked that high? And in "pro" games, I have only seen teching to guardian one or too times. Really vespene intensive strategy and risky with no anti-air (I assume if you are teching to guardians, you have to leave out any serious development of hydras). IMO, plague is a waste of time and energy against anyone but the Protoss. Terran can kick your defiler's ass w ... Click here to view this comment. |

#13. Posted on April 16, 2008 02:25 PM. I don't really like the sound of the mobile defenses. Seems to defeat the whole purpose of "static" defenses. The only benefit I see is for countering Reaper rushes. Personally, I liked how the Queen was looking and hate that so much of the defense is now lifted off of her. I suppose I will just have to wait to see the mechanics of it. I do however agree with the removal of some of the Mothership's abilities. Two races' mobile and purely offensive super units against the Zerg's seem ... Click here to view this comment. |

#14. Posted on April 14, 2008 06:47 PM. I read the review above and thought I should give you the benefit of the doubt. So here goes. Tanks? Not a problem. Easy enough to work around, it just tanks a while as you spend a lot of time waiting for energy to replenish. Definitely a pain in the ass. I would like to see the spells for Winchill cost lest or have some option to regain energy, as sitting and waiting for it to fill does not take any strategy, just patience. Now for the real issues. First: when I went to get the Kerrigan c ... Click here to view this comment. |

#15. Posted on April 13, 2008 11:09 AM. I don't see why everyone is complaining about how tight it is. So you tech to air and drop/harass Terran tanks. By managing your air units well, one geyser can last you a while. That simple. Can't expect every game to go the same (1st tier rush and the such). Maps like this keep players on their toes and learning new tricks rather than relying on the old standbys. Because the spaces are so small, it gives you some time to spot and prepare for oncoming ground attacks. This was great for Zerg, ... Click here to view this comment. |

#16. Posted on April 13, 2008 10:52 AM. At first I thought "Wow...Demonslayer is just freaking out...doesn't look like a money map to me." Then I noticed that you have the minerals set at obscene values. Cut them back (the default is always nice) and that will about do it for me. I don't really care that you only used one type of mineral. As for it being plain, once again, not that bad in my opinion. However, you could probably cut back on doodads and different terrain at the places where people won't even go (i.e. large ... Click here to view this comment. |

#17. Posted on April 07, 2008 03:46 PM. I understand and agree with what Wehrmacht said. Need a little more contrast between the armor portions and the cloth portions. I don't know if you necessarily want a more metallic look for it as I imagine the armor would be some sort of composite, but you might consider doing one or the other a little darker. Perhaps darken the armor portions and give it a little more of a grainy texture...you know, like modern synthetic stocks or something like that. Also, the left hand (his left, our right ...Click here to view this comment. |

#19. Posted on April 07, 2008 02:58 PM. So...if they decide to go with the Medivac, it stands to reason that they would have to be corruptible. I wonder if the corrupted Med. would still be able to use its heal ability, and if so, what advantage this would give the Zerg in a battle. Seems like too much. I really don't like the sound of this new Medivac. Slower to tech to taking the power of a marine/medic rush away from the Terran and way too easy to counter. Seems to me they better cut some things from the Zerg lineup or give the ... Click here to view this comment. |

#20. Posted on April 07, 2008 11:15 AM. I gave you an average on this one. The map design is unlike anything I have ever seen before, but gave an unfair advantage to Zerg. Tech to mutalisk as fast as possible and you have this without any problems. It really looks like (from the size and lack of expos) that you intended this to be a quick map, and it works. playing either ZvZ or ZvT was pretty fun, but Protoss get destroyed no matter how you look at it. Tanks on ledge or quick rine/med drop (as fast as you can get dropships out) wi ... Click here to view this comment. |

#23. Posted on April 03, 2008 09:16 PM. I really like the area design, even if the doodads are a little overpowering. Just a little issue. Those central minerals with three sided ramps are harder than hell to defend as Protoss (IMO...but then again, I suck with toss.) Played with all of the races and it is well balanced. Good. ... #24. Posted on April 03, 2008 09:12 PM. I agree, there is a bit too many minerals with no real need to expand. With the AI the way it is, you can just wait for the comp to break itself on your defenses (way to easy to defend against computer, but I haven't played against any humans yet) and then wipe them out with a very strong counter (i.e. early mutalisk/guardian). This is easily accomplished with the excess of cash at immediate disposal. I would recommend cutting back on resources. Makes for a shorter but better balanced game. ... #26. Posted on April 02, 2008 04:37 PM. This wasn't too bad and was actually pretty fun, if really easy. The map design was nice and diverse and wasn't lacking at all. Triggers seemed to be clean with no obvious problems. However, this was REALLY easy. Also very linear...add a couple little things off the path to add some fun. Also, the upgrading thing was a little iffy. The Zerg upgrades only go to level 2 and Kerri gets no benefit from the attack upgrade. Also, the second level of the ranged attack for Zerg costs 150 rather t ... Click here to view this comment. |

#27. Posted on April 02, 2008 03:57 PM. At this point in time, I gave you an average. The map was clean and easy to follow. However, all of your main areas had just wide open spaces. I know that this is supposed to be on a ship so that may have been a personal choice, but I would have liked to see some doodads. Second, after the first spot where the hydras came out, it was fairly obvious that something similar was going to happen in all of the rooms. It was easy enough to just take in a cloaked ghost to set the trigger and then ... Click here to view this comment. |

#28. Posted on March 27, 2008 10:56 AM. Where to begin... I really don't know of anything positive I can say about this. The terrain was dull and boring, the "huge attack" you mention was utter crap and defeated quickly, and the Zerg bases had absolutely no AI. While the infrequent and small attacks coming throughout the game might be enough to finish off the most noobish of players, I went through this only losing five or six (Terran) units...I just threw away the Zerglings that just randomly appear under your control, ... #29. Posted on March 27, 2008 10:04 AM. Wow...nice screen shots. Have to say I am still not terribly impressed with the art for the Zerg buildings, but the Toss sure are damn sexy. And too bad about the Ultra not having carrying capacity...I know it would seriously mess up the balance, but can you imagine Banelings dumping out of an Ultralisk? Finally, the resuming of research rather than having to restart will make Protoss players happy. I wonder if you can cancel research while the building is unpowered to get the mineral refu ... #30. Posted on March 26, 2008 07:09 PM. Nothing really objectionable. Actually pretty fun to play, if quite simple. #31. Posted on March 20, 2008 08:57 PM. Ahh....woher kommst du? Anyways, this was a good series of maps, although I found the language odd. Speaking of language, I feel that the foul language in one of the briefings only detracted from the somewhat lacking story. I would have liked to see the briefings fleshed out a little more and the spelling issues fixed. Also, the celebrity names for the heros seemed somewhat half-assed. At least come up with something original, as that was just silly. I give it a good, because the only pro ... Click here to view this comment. |

#32. Posted on March 20, 2008 08:52 PM. Not too bad. Triggers were clean and well done and this had an interesting design. There weren't any major grammar or spelling mistakes that I noticed, which is always a plus. However...easy. Very easy and quick, with little replay value. Also would have liked to see some sort of a briefing. I give you an average. All in all, this was well done. I would be interested in anything else you come up with. ... #35. Posted on March 18, 2008 05:42 PM. Hmm...looks like the other races might start to push air now with Hydralisk pushed to second tier. Obviously players will get their Queen, something I can assume will be costly. So Hydras and Mutas will probably be slightly delayed. Looks like early anti-air will be pretty tough. Secondly, I hope that upgrading to overseer is cheap, or teching to Templar is expensive/slow. Otherwise, wow. Dark Templar and Zerg are screwed. I also assume that Roaches and Banelings will be quite spendy or lo ... Click here to view this comment. |

#37. Posted on March 10, 2008 07:14 PM. Nothing cheers the heart quite like swarms of zerglings. And I must admit that while I wasn't thrilled with the first view of the ultralisks, that was down right awesome. Wow. My only complaint is the some-what cartoonish building design. That and not being able to recognize units, but I am sure that will soon end. Hope to see the Zerg section up on the website soon! ... Click here to view this comment. |

#38. Posted on March 09, 2008 06:42 PM. I think it is important to mention that you should also utilize tanks splash as well. Nothing rips up a blockade quite as quickly as splashing ultras. Two or three splash from tank can wipe out a good deal of rines. send in lings to take first shot followed immediately by ultras to dodge a bit and any late game blockade is toast. ...
