Without using them, you will lose. But in fmp(fastest map possible), it's all about build and mass, build and mass, build and mass. The minerals are practically unlimited, which takes away the macro, and it doesn't matter where you place your buildings, which also takes away the macro, but there is still a little bit of macro in fmp: unit production. Greg, use your brain man, do you know how many scourges you will need to kill..lets say...10 carriers? Each carrier has 450 life, am i correct? Each scourge does 125. The carrier has auto 4 shield upgrade too, but lets forget that. you will need 4 scourges to kill one carrier. It's so retarded that every person i verse and try to reaver drop on makes either cannons, turrets, or spores at the edges of their base. and they place it in such a way that i cant even hit them from ground. The strats only got one problem. The same one I have: What happens if their nex/hatch/cc is heavily defended, and all that time you try to drop on them, but when you see it doesn't work, you have 20 hydras/tanks/dragoons knocking on your door? And, besides, it's easy to kill a bunker in your own base if it's near enough to your minerals. Just get the probes/scv/drones to attack the builder, or the building. And, the opponent will have at least 6 lings, or 2 zealots, or 10 marines before you finish the bunker. When choosing terran, and vsing other race, there is a 'special' build order that should be used for vsing a specific race. As for fb, yea, goons handle well, but if the rine is stimmed, with meds, then goons arent good enough. They attack too slowly. Even zealots suck vs rines, if they micro u. And a gateway with their sixth. And, this strategy is quite useful, not 'useless', because won't you rather have your enemy make a million ground units, and not be able to get in, while you got the air advantage???
