If they really were noobs, they wouldn't even have gathered enough minerals to make a carrier...probably would spend it on dragoons. In addition, massing carriers is what makes them so deadly. A mix between carriers and scouts is probably one of the best fleets you could get in terms of sheer pwnage. The real noobs are the ones who don't know how to deal with them. ... #7. Posted on October 05, 2007 02:40 PM. Awww I was gonna make the first...damn. Every time I play as Protoss, my main goal is to get carriers as quickly as possible. They own the battlefield, especially if your enemies are noobs, and aim for the interceptors. I am dissapointed that they downgraded the power of the carrier...for it is my favorite unit. Hopefully they increased the number of interceptors that the carrier can hold. If they did get rid of any anti-ground resistance, the carrier has about as much use as the scout, goo ...
